Many thanks for your great email. I am truly grateful to you and hope you will come to London one day I will return all the great favor of sending those enlightening articles you been posting, not only to me but to all your students like myself. I always been admiring your great tenacity of your work and hoping that you could advice me to make my own video presentation online. I am a videographer/photographer and my website is taking so long to create by my website designer and I already paid him long time ago but he kept promising me that it wont be long now that my web will be online before Sept. 30, 2007 which
he started it since Feb.2007. How can I create or avail myself to have video clips or presentation to my web. Kind regards,
Enrique

Enrique:
Sorry to hear your story. It is all too common. There are countless rip off artists and incompetent folks hanging out shingles as “web designers.”
There’s no short answer to your question. Look for a new web designer, see samples of their work, talk to at least three of their active clients. Or learn how to do the work yourself.
Whatever you do, never pay anyone 100% upfront for anything ever.
There are no shortcuts and unfortunately, as you’ve discovered, there are plenty of pitfalls.

Peter,
Just go to http://www.vegasbuzzvideo.com and click on the banner. It will take you to a site – I believe I learned about through Ken’s newsletter sometime ago. You can see what I’ve done. I’ve created a whole network of video sites for free, and you can do the same thing also. You can also put your own ads or Google Ads there. It’s still probably one of the better kept secrets on the ‘Net.
Check it out. Go to any of my video sites and click on ‘create your own channel.’ Actually, once you’ve done that you can create as many additional video communities as you want. No hosting, no webmasters, no good for nothing help.
Hope this helps.
