It’s hard to overstate Gary’s contribution to the world of bootstrap entrepreneurs.
He and Jay Abraham were the first – the FIRST – to offer small business owners credible, actionable and inspired “how to” information on how to use direct marketing to make money.
Dan Kennedy started out as a student of Gary’s and you can see Gary’s influence all over his excellent work.
Between the three of them, Abraham, Halbert and Kennedy can legimately take credit for the explosion of direct marketing smarts that has transformed business in Ameria over the last twenty-five yeare.
Personally, I know I’d be nowhere without the contribution these guys have made and in many ways Gary was the sparkplug that got the whole education engine running.
No one was better at explaining the essence of what it takes to sell at a distance and I seriously doubt anyone will ever come along and do a better job of it.
We’ve got a handful of Halbert videos up no and I’ve got many more in the works. All free. If you don’t know Gary’s work, you just don’t know bootstrap entreprenuer-style Internet marketing.

Hi Ken,
As soon as I heard of Gary’s passing I started scanning for your latest e-mail. Thank you for sharing and for providing a link to Gary’s site. He will be sorely missed for what he did, who he was, and for what he taught us about work and about life. Thanks also for the video, Ken. I know you have a lot on your plate already with the System right around the corner but you have made the time to remember another teacher. Thanks!

Thanks for taking the time out to do this for us Ken. If anyone deserves a tribute, it’s Gary. He was a wonderful teacher and a wonderful person (all anyone has to do is read the Boron Letters to learn what type of person he really was).
