Mr. McCarthy,
Believe it or not, I watched your video and was so inspired by it and all the other E-media that I receive from you. Meanwhile I actually created my first viral marketing peice on my blog site, http://Corneliusonpoint.blogspot.com In support of the items I hope to offer on E-bay. You've helped so much as I attempt to "connect the dots" for more exposure and sells. Many Thanks for the call to action!

Sherman,
Thanks! I'm not surprised you're already on this with a tutorial.
I recommend Sherman's tutorials very highly. Two thumbs up on everything I've seen.
Conincidentally, I just posted an interview with Sherman elsewhere. He'll be a faculty member at System 2006 in Chicago (May 19- 21)

Hi Sean, and whoever's interested - I had created a video in January on exactly...
1. What Google Video is?
2. Benefits of using Google Video
3. Navigating this video search engine
4. Setting up & logging in to your account
5. Downloading, installing & uploading video using the Google Video Uploader, &
6. Customizing your video information to best attract targeted visitors
The instructional video can be found at the link below:

Cool! Thanks for posting that. It really does remind you how far things have come and how much farther they could go. (Also that presenters reading text from the screen predated PowerPoint!)

Ken, you are one very scary guy! I went to System Seminar last year, and have to say that you're the first person I've met who I would classify as genius.
I can only add that seeing this video and how far ahead of the time you were back then makes me realize the value of what you taught last year.
I can't afford the time to make the System Seminar this year, but for anybody on the fence, I give it the highest reccomendation.

Hi Ken,
Famous? You're already famous. Even though I knew you were, I simply didn't know how much so until yesterday on my way back from a sailing vacation in Florida.
I'm used to seeing bridges named for politicians, religious leaders and philanthropists, but I was astonished to see the "Kenneth McCarthy" bridge at Mile 17 over I-95 in Georgia.
John Carlton, Clayton Makepeace and Dan Kennedy, eat your hearts out!
We're excited about video at www.silverlandjewelry.com too. We are in the preliminary stages of adding video to our bridesmaids gifts so that brides can get a real world view of their choices. You can see a preliminary view at www.hawebcrafters.com/silverland. Since this is preliminary, we haven't done a voiceover or appropriate music yet, but we're getting there.
As we go along, advice and comments from you and others following video developments will be appreciated.
Keep up the good work; who knows what's next? There may be a "Ken McCarthy International Airport" in the works somewhere.
Regards, Ray Paquette

Next post? Please tell me the step-by-step approach to putting this on my blog. It needs to be "System Simple."
Thanks.

My favorite saying:
Good judgement comes from wisdom and wisdom comes from experience... and experience comes from bad judgement. So good judgement comes from bad judgement!
All this to direct your attention to two things I'd change:
1. On these free upload sites, you need to make sure you have something meaningful in the first frame because that's the frame they display in the player.
I'm displaying a black box. Ooops!
2. I didn't put a copyright notice anywhere and I am the copyright owner. On the other hand, if anyone wants to run this on their web sites or TV station and make me famous, I have no objections.
Anyway, if we learn from each others mistakes (plentiful) and good ideas (occasional), we're all going to get there that much faster.
That's what this is all about.
